Statement from the Board of Trustees
The Criminal Justice Alliance is pleased to announce the appointment of Annette So as Director of the CJA from 1 April 2024.
Annette joined the CJA in 2021 as its first Deputy Director and has held the position of Interim Director since 1 October 2023.
Annette brings over 15 years of experience in the charity sector, having worked as a lawyer on human rights and criminal justice issues globally. Annette previously worked as Deputy Director of The Death Penalty Project where she led on strategy, organisational development, and programmes on criminal justice reform in Commonwealth countries and Asia. She is a trustee (and former Co-Chair) at Hibiscus Initiatives and The Rights Practice.
Nick Linfoot and Coralyn Burge, Chair and Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees, said:
